Young and promising singer Tahsin Khan is the grandson of reputed musicologist Mobarak Hossain Khan and popular singer of the sixties Fauzia Khan. His mother Reenat Fauzia is a distinguished sitarist. Tahsin's maternal grandfather Mobarak Hossain Khan is the son of Ustad Ayet Ali Khan and nephew of Ustad Alauddin Khan. His maternal grandmother is the sister of the topmost singers of Bangladesh like Sabina Yeasmin, Nilufar Yeasmin and Farida Yeasmin. So Tahsin inherits a rich cultural heredity. He has gained proper training on music from his mother. Tahsin Khan is an enlisted vocal artiste of Bangladesh Betar (Radio Bangladesh). Professionally Tahsin is a lawyer. Tahsin completed his Bachelor in Law from Southeast University. Tahsin is now completing his Masters in Law from the same University. Tahsin was awarded as "Best Researcher" in a national mooting competition , a recent workshop organised by all the Law Departments of Different Universities of Bangladesh. The award was given on the basis of the marks given by the supreme court justices.
